Our founding attorney, D. Scott Hurley, is an accomplished trial lawyer practicing since 1984. We are one of a few Knoxville area law firms with a Registered Nurse on staff. LaDonna Hurley works closely with our clients and their doctors to document the true extent of injuries and calculate the costs of medical care. Her familiarity with both medical issues and legal terminology helps us in our fight to convince a jury or an insurance company to award full damages. LaDonna also has the compassion necessary to comfort clients during a stressful time. She always tries to answer your medical questions in a prompt manner.

The Hurley Law Firm, P.C., has a total of five staff members, one of whom has been with Mr. Hurley for 20 years. Our associate attorney, Ryan Shamblin, graduated from the University of Tennessee College of Law, and adds great value to our practice.

Mr. Hurley previously served as a member of the board of trustees of Lincoln Memorial University (his alma mater), as president of the National Alumni Association for LMU and on the board of directors of the Citizens Bank of Sneedville. Currently, Scott is a board member in a number of charitable organizations, and is active in church and social organizations in the Knoxville area.
